Great place.! Trying to find some chocolate mousse for my wife. They ran out but they had terramisu which is the other desert she wanted. Nice little shop and the service was good.

There’s a good reason they have been open for 85 years. The staff is incredibly friendly & their custom cakes are out of this world. If you’re close by stop in for a coffee, you’ll probably walk away with a breakfast sandwich and 2lbs of sweets.

The prices are sky high. Rudy's thinks they are in the Upper East Side with their prices!The pastries are delicious though, especially the custard danishes and the horseshoe cheesecakes.There is a quiet cozy section in the center of the shop that makes it a marvelous/ perfect place for a first date (instead of going to a movie, a bar, or a fancy expensive dinner).Why waste your time and money if you can't connect through some simple face-to-face conversation?You can go there on a simple date and enjoy a cup of coffee and the pastries -- and each other!

I love her so much! 😊😊😊 We've been going to @rudysbakeryandcafe for holiday treats for 4 generations now! My favorite are the Spequalatius Hazelnut Men! They're so buttery and crisp! They make them on an heirloom cookie tray that has accompanied the recipie for generations! Wow!!🍫🍪🍰🍫🍪🍰🍫🍪🍰🍫🍪🍰🍫🍪🍰 The milk and dark chocolate christmas wreathes are also decedantly good! I'm not a big chocolate fan but it's so quality even I can't resist!! My family and I decided to go here together for some dessert. Toni was so sweet to us! She made sure my grandmother got her coffee exactly how she likes it! We were all wowed by the delicious food. Definitely looking forward to coming back more.

The staff there are very nice and friendly. Me and my family have gotten many things from here before and they've all been great. Cakes, hot chocolate, cookies, more. It's so good. They also have free wifi so it's a good place to dine in. Only reason I give it 4 stars is because it is very pricey. But other than that it's a great place.

Rudy's Pastry Shop is a delightful cafe to have a lite meal or to grab a sweet treat. On this particular visit I tried the Mozzarella Melt; sliced turkey, sliced tomato and a generous slice of mozzarella melted to perfection! Absolutely delicious! I ended my meal with a cup of coffee and a small cannoli. With its charming interior and extensive pastry menu, Rudy's is definitely a must for anyone wanting have a coffee and a sweet treat.

Loved it. Delicious goods, pleasant staff, and inexpensive. The quality of the food was great, I literally ate one of everything in the display cases.

I got my hubby a birthday cake here. He has an illness and has to be 100& Gluten free. The reason I chose this bakery is they have a Gluten free Mascarpone cheese cake! It was awesome and 100% Gluten free! Being Gluten free is not like being Vegan. Its not a choice. It is due to illness. My hubby lost his hair OVERNIGHT a full head of black hair due to a Gluten allergy.Rudy's is aware of how to make a Gluten free cake. We have been to so many restaurants and bakeries who claim stuff is Gluten free then my hubby gets sick. My hubby had a gluten free cheese cake and has not had cheese cake in 2 years due to his gluten allergy! We are very happy with the cake!

$1.50 for this coffee and this is a small... this coffee taste like the coffee pot hasn't been washed for an entire year. It's not about the money but it's about the quality of coffee you sell... I have to say after two sip of it at felt like throwing up... worst coffee I've ever tasted... The deli next door to this business makes better coffee ☕️

Best bakery in queens. Everything is always fresh. The staff are so welcoming and nice. The red velvet cake omg if you haven't had it you need to go now and buy it. It's the best ive ever had in NYC. Just one word... Rudy's is perfection.

Rudy's Pastry Shop in Ridgewood Queens is THE place to go for good coffees, amazing desserts and a true "local neighborhood" vibe. The cakes are fantastic and Tonie, the owner, is an engaged, caring and incredibly upbeat and memorable personality that puts all her love into her shop and her food. I've been going here for years for both my sweet tooth needs AND the immense laughter and love that always lifts my spirit from visiting this true NYC mom and pop bakery. HIGHLY recommended.

Chocolate Chip Buttercreme cookie, dense with just the right amount of sweetness and best paired with iced coffee. Their red velvet cupcake is the bomb! Serving might seem small but it’s really dense and filling. So much enjoyed it, will definitely return to try for more.

Went there for a bienenstich and cookies. Wish I got one of everything in the store. A 45 minute drive and hellish parking, but it was worth it. Delicious!

I’ve never been a big fan of red velvet, but their red velvet cup (red velvet cake, icing, and strawberries) is absolutely delicious. Their croissants are also good. The only thing I’ve tried from there that was really disappointing was the chocolate cake, that looked like the cake from Matilda, it was dry and bland. Just stay clear of that and you’ll find a yummy treat

The pastries is good. I took many things for my family and I tried many of it. The one that I enjoyed most was a yellow cake with pineapple filling and a white cream over the cake with coconut flakes on it. What they should do a traditional brownie with walnuts because that wasn't there. I would go again because the atmosphere was very pleasant. Didn't stay to eat and so I don't know if they have a bathroom or if its clean or not. Tables and everything was clean though.

The worse black forest cake. They make one thats not genoise, has a pie crust? And a cranberry jelly. It's also doused in rhum when it shd be kirsh. Maybe their other American offerings are better. Too bad I will never find out

I was in the neighborhood for Christmas, and I randomly stopped in Rudy’s to get a dessert. I picked up a Cheese Ring, butter cookies and chocolate chip cookies. Everything I purchased tasted like something that came out of my grandmother’s kitchen. This is a gem in the neighborhood, and I wish this type of establishment was in my neighborhood. So making a trip to Rudy’s is well worth it.

I NEVER EVER give a 5 star rating. I don't think I need any further explanation. If you enjoy fresh delicious baked goods and haven't been here you need to go. Be warned... Parking is difficult.

The best jelly donuts in town. My favorite place for over 40 years! My kids love it just as much! You have to have the black and white cookies too!
